Was apprehensive about doing a course with little electrical knowledge. But Lee and Gary were excellent - and I am looking forward to the s4 very very much.

Eddie did a fantastic job as our course tutor. Only wish we could have printed materials to take away with us as usb cannot be used on work laptops.

Course had fantastic potential, served it’s purpose well, Delivery was shambolic, from presentations that should have been at the start being delivered at the end, to course notes and activities being planned out during the course and multiple runs to the printer being carried out each and every exercise, there was very little in the way of communication between us allowed or facilitated, with all questions resulting in confusion and confrontation, normally due to a misunderstanding or misunderstanding or miss hearing, on the end of the lecturer, very hard work from start to finish and completely not necessary. Also the centre has equipment that we as a company use as do others who were on the course but we never did any work on that stuff. Again could be more useful if handled better. Also due to comments being read out and discussed after submission I have had to remove comments due to the confrontation my peers received. This would be better not addressed, and could and should be anonymous

Great facilities exactly what was needed to gain experience. Lectures didn't seem to want to veer from their script. When asking questions it seemed like a hassle and most the time didnt get a clear answer from Norman. Practical was good equipment but it was so slow going around you never got a full go of isolating and restoring just one or the other. While eddies group seemed to have a full go themselves. More information could be added to the training folders as info seems to be missed that is spoken about on the power points. Coffee/tea and food all good and plenty of breaks to break up the day.
