This was an excellent course delivered by a great tutor. My confidence level in dealing with an individual linked to suicide, has doubled. I feel I have some basic tools that would really make a difference if I encounter a situation where there is potential for an individual to be facing taking their life through suicide.
I've previously complete a level 2 suicide and self harm prevention course however I left this course feeling much better prepared to intervene. The best item was comparing suicide FA to CPR.
This exceeded my expectations in so many ways. It was boundaried but informative, toeing the line between personal experience and the tools needed to make a difference. Amazing!
