City and Guilds 2392-10 – Level 2 Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing & Initial Verification Reviews

I needed an extra workshop day to get me confident but I'm a multi skilled maintenance engineer not an installation or domestic sparky doing it for a job. If the Technique lads can get me through the course then something is right. If I was to make any constructive criticism it would be to improve the training and testing rigs, they are a bit worse for wear. But that said, I passed 😃

This was the last part of the TEC20 package, so I have spent 20 days at Stirling with Allan, the content was structured and delivered excellently, I had very little knowledge prior to course and am now confident enough to completely wire a domestic house and can now sign off my own work,.With the help of Allan I achieved City & Guilds 2382-18 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, City & Guilds 2377-77 In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, City & Guilds 2392-10 – Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification. Allan has a wealth of knowledge and experience that he is happy to share, he also goes above and beyond in ensuring you have a full understanding of the subject, nothing is too much trouble for him and the support is always there even after the course is finished. Due to the experience and quality of the course i will not go anywhere else in future if i require further quals or knowledge.

Tutor was really good and very knowledgeable. I learned a great deal, he really wanted the students to succeed and was always available to answer questions or queries. Refreshments were fine and tutor ensured that we had plenty to drink throughout the day, no food was provided possibly due to Covid restrictions.

Wendy was great! I had limited knowledge before taking this course and therefore found it a little difficult. Wendy explained everything to me when i needed extra help and would stay late every night for those who needed extra and was very supportive. In 4 days I went from knowing very little to having passed my theory exam and confident to undertake my practical assessment in the new year. I will be back for sure to do more courses
