Really good training. Wasn't looking forward to a 3.25 hour session but the time flew by and I could easily have done more. Still so many questions but they are more specific and probably outside of the remit of the First Aid. Was expecting to need to suggest the course be made shorter, but it was perfectly timed and covered what it needed to. Deb was brilliant. Great presenter. Really captured the audience. Everyone paid attention and got involved. I know that if I am in ANY situation where I think a person is really struggling I will have the confidence to ask THE question.

I enjoyed this course very much. I learnt a lot, and was surprised that saying the word ' Suicide ' is perfectly okay. It implies to me, we can get over this.

This is a significant topic to gain knowledge in for myself, supporting colleagues and service users. This was a perfect introduction and/or refresher to suicide first aid. I believe the examples in the video was minimised and compliant when in real situations it is not that easy to engage a person with complex needs as quick however, it offers positive guide in where to begin with a conversation, supporting agencies and planning.

I enjoyed the course; I found it emotionally draining due to the subject matter but well delivered. An eye opener that those who make a suicide attempt where their initial intent is to live and the outcome is life are the ones most at risk in the future.
