I will talk to my team. I had a friend who committed suicide and only wish I had this information then. I was involved in her life.

Although the course is useful for anyone who wants to try and make a difference, I feel it should be part of any induction process for anyone who are public facing sitting along side issues of safeguarding and poverty. Although i'm an experienced advisor, it has made me think more about the role I can play in preventing suicide. I feel much more confident about approaching this subject with my clients, asking direct questions and hopefully being the catalyst for change.

The training was very useful and has made me feel more confident in recognising red flags that people maybe experiencing suicidal thoughts. I feel I will be better equipped following the training to discuss how my clients are feeling and has given me a better understanding of what somebody who is experiencing suicidal thoughts does and does not need.

The course broaden my understanding about suicide ideation. I think I would benefit more by taking the 6hour - conclusion part of the training.

For me the course was well structured, felt was a bit short cause of the nature and stigma around suicide,I feel there's a lot more to learn.

I really enjoyed this training and found it really informative and helpful. Lots of room for discussions and questions which was good to hear everyone's opinions and thoughts

The latter questions have not received 5 stars as I am a trained psychotherapist and counsellor with a great degree of experience in working in this field. If I had not had this experience already I have no doubt that the training would have improved my confidence and skills in that area.
