I really enjoyed the course and it was really insightful to listen to others experience. I dont normally like 'role play' but I really benefited from the part of asking someone about suicide. As a student nurse, I will most certainly be taking these skills further and would quite like to do the full day course if possible.
having worked in secondary mental health servicers primarily in crisis response roles for many years i was very familiar with lots of the course material. It was all relevant to anyone experiencing suicidal thoughts/intent and helpful to those trying to support that person.
Excellent training and should be attended by all.
thank you so much Lisa for your time today. The course is something i have never done before and got some great tips on how to deal with suicide in the future if needed
I learnt something new despite attending many trainings on suicide awareness/first aid.
Thank you so much - a really valuable course Helen x
It was informative and thought-provoking, and I appreciate the time and effort you put into creating and delivering it. One aspect of the training that I found particularly helpful was the discussion of warning signs and risk factors for suicide. The examples you gave were clear and easy to understand, and I feel more confident in my ability to recognize when someone may be at risk. I also appreciated the material you provided, such as the workbook.
