IOSH Managing Safely Reviews

Course was well structured. Module 5 was a lot of information which I feel could be condensed down. The trainer was friendly, knowledgable and informal. It was frustrating that he was not on time to the training 2/3 sessions - I could have been in another morning meeting instead. For a lot of the content it was mainly the trainer reading off the training booklet which limited the engagement and reduced focus. In future I think having more active participation would be benefical

Paul was really good at giving us important information on how to managing safety and risk assessment

I enjoyed learning about the policies and processes. This isn't necessarily anything to do with my job, but it is good to know what is needed within a workplace in regards to H&S. Becky was amazing, she gave great examples on everything and reinforced anything we weren't 100% sure on.

Useful training

There is a misalignment between the course booklet/manual and content of the presentation, differences in wording that can cause confusion

Well presented course, it was good that we got to share our experiences within our industries which helps to make the course material relevant.
