The course was highly refreshing . The trainer displayed good understanding of the course content.

Great refresher some new knowledge

Under the circumstances the course and content was very good.

The course was a great refresher and the tutor explained everything extremely well.

My overall comments for the course were that David the trainer, was very well equipped with the correct knowledge to deliver the session. He managed to include everyone and brought a very pleasant atmosphere to the session. Unfortunately, due to covid, the practical session that usually comes with this course was not available and that would be better. But David delivered a fantastic course!

Useful refresher but probably doesn't need a full day. General round up indicated everyone had covered most of ground before and what was needed was practical and/or a focus on single carer working in people's homes with specific challenges this creates. Trainer was methodical and covered much ground and created space for questions. Perhaps an addition (or ideally instead of many of principles which all had covered previously and diminishes enthusiasm by the time we got to the practicalities) would be group discussion on problems people have faced in relation to moving and handling and solutions they have found.

I would have liked some practical training too as much of the practical is newish to me as I trained a long time ago and moving and handling has moved forward so much in a great way I might add. I also think that it would be good to see different types of slide sheets that are available to us as lone workers that could be used with family members - could you also send me the practical videos again about slide sheets and getting someone off the floor they were good - the guy on the videos has great moving skills I would like to improve mine - A practical session would be fab for me thanks so much you presented it really well thanks again - Yvonne

Good refresher course with helpful information on safe moving and handling.

A very enjoyable and informative course. Well presented by David, who paid attention to our specific needs and also interspersed the material with regular short breaks-much appreciated! I actually feel like I have learnt more than from previous face to face courses. Thank you David
