Firstly I would like to congratulate you on your choice of lecturer/ assessor. Andy was supportive and immensely knowledgeable. He did not discriminate between the confident electricians or beginners to testing. He explained things clearly and visually and thrived on answering students questions. If this course achieves a high pass percentage it will largely down to Andy's ability to teach. The venue had everything you needed including free coffee ( always a bonus ). All round communication from start to finish was excellent. The only thing I would change would be build in the testing assessment into the week to avoid having to come back again.

Course information on website was a little missleading. As it didn't suggest that I would have to attend an extra day to complete the practical assessment.

Potters Bar

The layout of classroom wasn't very effective as everything was crammed in one classroom. It wasn't possible for every students to see what tutor was writing on white board and there wasn't enough room to move the board too. The training RIGs weren't enough for every students as there were only 9 and some of them were broken and the total students were 11. However, Wendy (tutor) was amazing, highly efficient, cooperative and very helpful.

A registration process of practical test should be provide for enrolled student to input in advance, so that the practical test and the ert do not need to extend for 2 weeks.

Alistair had a load of Knowledge. But the biggest issue I had was there were a few people in the class with next to no electrical work experience. This slowed down what we would've learnt I felt. I feel the 2391 should be for experienced for electricians

Wendy went above and beyond, excellent throughout and a pleasure to receive instruction from her. However the course length itself is too short, and should be provided over 2 weeks instead of the week it currently is.

Manchester

I think Keith should be able to complete the practical side of the course during the actual course over 6.5 days. The way it is done at the moment doesn't allow the practical test to be done in a timely manner (there are several months wait in Manchester!?!?). Also the practise test rigs are in no way reflective of the actual rig for the examination process causing a certain amount of anxiety for students and a higher potential to fail. I almost feel like this has been made overly complicated to increase re-test revenue. Keith as a tutor was enjoyable and friendly and was great at explaining badly worded questions so the student could determine the correct outcome.
