Brilliant course would highly recommend
Very good course, good information given. Chris is very knowledgeable and explains all the details required. Good range of testing shown and all staff members accommodating in showing testing not part of course.
Good job by Chris. Small group of 3 helped out as we had time to discuss in greater detail should we need it.
Well delivered. Real life examples. Protection relay settings can be a hard subject to teach due to the requirement for lots of theory and calculations. I believe chris did an excellent job.
I enjoyed the course and have learnt a lot. I do feel like the mix of practical and theory of the course has helped me to understand most of the course a lot more effectively.
The facilities were great. The course was enjoying but extremely fast paced for the amount of material and the number or days that the course takes place over. I would have liked more of the practical side of the course, like referring to drawing when setting up the tests rather then them being already set up

I note your rating of 3 out of 5 and your comment regarding a preference for more practical-based scenarios. P1 is delivered within a limited timeframe and is intentionally structured to provide candidates with a strong grounding in fundamental protection principles, together with an introduction to relay settings and associated calculations. For information, we also offer the P3 Protection course, which is designed to build on this foundation. P3 includes one day of advanced theory followed by four days of hands-on practical training, using a variety of protection relays and secondary injection test sets to reflect equipment commonly encountered in operational environments. Good refresher to power system protection
Alan was a fantastic instructor. Extremely noligable. Kept my intrest throughout the week.
