Catherine is a compassionate and caring teacher. She delivered the course extremely well through the online sessions and printed workbook. It was a supportive non-judgemental space to learn, share and practice mindfulness including the guided meditations. It has given me the tools to bring more kindness and gratitude into my life and to notice when I am being judgemental. I would highly recommend this mindfulness course and Catherine.Response : Thank you Amanda for your detailed feedback. I am delighted you got so much from the course. Well done on the commitment you brought to it. Best wishes with everything, Catherine

Fabulous Course; Fabulous Tutor. Catherine goes above and beyond to enforce her course so that the pupil can adopt it into a way of life and move forward. The course itself delves into places you don't necessarily want to acknowledge but need to, in order to self heal. The highlight of the course was the retreat. Definitely a course that is beneficial to those suffering: stress and anxiety; PTSD; Chronic Pain or just struggling with coping in life. It will be something I will carry on with in my every day life.

The course was confidently and competently delivered. Great materials providing enough detail to understand the principles being explored and applied. The guided meditations have enabled me to start the process of developing a gentle and kind inner voice - a helpful tonic to the harsh critic I struggle with.

A well put together course which I've already seen positive benefits from, it's a great way to start your mindfulness journey giving a solid grounding in the practice. I would have preferred an in person course rather than zoom though.

I think this is a terrific course which I will recommend to appropriate health coaching clients of mine. The downside is definitely the venue, which isn't very inviting (sparse, cold and not inspirational or particularly calming) but I think the price of the course reflects this.Response : It's good to hear you found the course useful and are happy to recommend it to others. The venue is used by other providers for Yoga and Pilates, and is widely recognised as being an appropriate venue for wellbeing intervention activities. I check how people are with the temperature throughout sessions, and I could have brought an extra heater to the room if you had asked. The advantage of the space being large is that people can choose to sit close to a heater or not - some people don't like to be too warm. Participants can also choose whether to sit opposite the windows with the lovely views onto Box Hill, or opposite the clear wall which might be less of a distraction. As the course is about people developing their relationship to their thoughts and feelings, we purposefully keep the space clear of things other than chairs, cushions, mats and the various posters such as Letting Go, Non-Judging, Acceptance and Self Compassion, which we use to help focus on the themes for the sessions. The Old Pixham School is a popular venue for meditation classes as it is quiet, with its charming outside area looking towards Box Hill that we use for the retreat days, has parking and is close to public transport. I do take your comments on board and will remind people to sit close to a heater if they want to feel warmer. Thank you Chantal, for your participation in the course and for all your contributions. I was pleased to hear you've signed up for the monthly sessions for course graduates, and I look forward to meeting you again soon. Best wishes, Catherine
