A very in depth and intensive course, with a great balance between theory and practice. All elements providing rationale for it being relevant. Liam is clearly both passionate about his subject, and extremely knowledgeable, and those traits transferred into a relaxed learning environment which makes learning complex concepts much easier. Except course, delivered by an excellent team, in a professional manner.

This training course has proven to be an exceptional experience, perfectly aligning with the standards of the Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) and BILD, while reflecting the core values upheld by Sherwood to actively reduce restrictive practices. On day one, Kirstie expertly delivered the foundational knowledge surrounding what RRN and BILD represent, setting a clear standard for the days ahead. A key takeaway was recognizing the critical importance of delivering these theoretical foundations before practical training, ensuring a safe, evidence-based approach that fully supports RRN guidelines. Delivered with incredible engagement and thoroughness by Liam, the sessions maintained a brilliant, manageable pace that made complex details entirely accessible without ever feeling overwhelming. The assessment day itself proved far less intimidating than initially expected, thanks to Kirstie, who not only assessed performance fairly but also broke down areas for improvement with exceptional clarity. Overall, this stands out as the best training course attended on this topic. There is now a strong enthusiasm to collaborate closely with Andy and the wider team to elevate the awareness, capability, and overall effectiveness of the hospital security team in line with RRN best practices and Sherwood's standards of care. A Huge thanks to Liam for making it fun and engaging. But also to Andy, Kirsty and Kirstie who were all exceptional
