Brillant course. Outlining all theory and ensuring everyone is capable and able to use the skills effectively to protect the safety of young people. Taken aspects back to school to prevent restraints being used

Wow, well done Rachael! Very knowledgable. Very professional. Obviously very experienced. I hope I can be as confident trainer as her! I would like part of the session to be; put yourself in x situation, how would you react. And the trainers could give their professional advice on how we could react to different situations. Eg, your child has run away, your child is refusing to eat etc ( although I expect your answer to be it depends on the child!) Thankyou!

Excellent by both!!!! Thank you!!!!! It has helped me with not restraining a young person for too long and knowing to release and take hold again!!!

Rachel very knowledgeable and both trainers helped us throughout the course. I will look into using images for behaviour throughout the school. Also ensure we practice techniques regularly Thank you both

Fast paced but work learnt backed up by booklet. Enough time to learn all movements. Much better than other similar courses due to Positive Behaviour Support training. I like that restraints and breakaway are seen as a last resort after PACE and PBS. Child friendly. I was scared after the rival training, about hurting children but Sherwood is child centred, positive and I'm looking forward to starting work with these skills.
