Practical breakaway techniques and positive behaviour support are the course’s defining strengths. Attendees value knowledgeable, patient trainers who use real-life scenarios, demonstrations and discussion to make de-escalation and behaviour of concern easy to understand. The sessions are interactive, relaxed and well paced, with trainers checking understanding and encouraging questions. Attendees say the refresher builds confidence and provides skills they can apply safely in their support roles.

Good course, refreshed my knowledge and now feel more confident
