I had never come across the word Anaphylaxia before this course came on my to-do list. I can honestly say that I have never been in the presence of someone having such a serious allergic reaction, ever.
Very easy to follow. Enjoyed the regular quizzes to ensure knowledge. Liked the links to further information and posters.
Just slow running and it was frustrating and quite triggering for a techno-phobe like me.
This training has increased my understanding of anaphylaxis, its causes, symptoms, and the importance of responding quickly in an emergency. As a result, I will be more vigilant in identifying signs of an allergic reaction, follow care plans and risk assessments more closely, and ensure that emergency procedures are followed promptly. I will also feel more confident in supporting individuals who are at risk of anaphylaxis and in communicating concerns to colleagues and healthcare professionals when necessary.
