Adobe After Effects: Beginner Reviews

I thought the course was excellent and I would happily recommend it. I was very impressed with the instructor and in particular the time Ian took to go back and explain certain areas where I needed further clarification.

Dom was brilliant and extremely patient considering I was a complete newbie to After Effects. I often had to ask him to jump back a couple of steps or repeat things which he was more than happy to do each time. The course was really enjoyable and I felt a sense of achievement with each completed project. I also think it's great that we have the option to contact Dom and get extra support post training. Will definitely use Enliten/Academy Class again. Thank you!

I have experience of Adobe Premiere Pro, but no prior experience of Adobe After Effects, so was a complete beginner. I learnt a lot, but found it hard to copy/follow the instructor and take notes. Although we were provided with notes, we didn't seem to follow them in a logical order. It would have helped me if we followed a workbook, e.g. introduced to a specific topic, followed the instructor with an example and then completed our own exercise to ensure we had understood. Also, most of the questions in the exam were not covered in the course, although the practical examples were better but I ran out of time.

Felt like we learned a great deal in a short amount of time, Ian kept it all very interesting and would incorporate things we wanted to look at.

Great course, really enjoyed learning the basics for After Effects. Instantly want to do more on it. Ian was great, open to all questions/queries and adaptable when we wanted to try something off course.

Taken as a refresher course - really useful in helping me remember lots of aspects taught on the course!
