Great, interactive, effective learning/training session A big improvement from 2024
Both trainers were amazing and very engaging. Also open to answer our questions with real life examples.
Was good however some theoretical elements are not relevant
Didn’t cover some topics such as self defence which was covered for our colleagues, and we also had non medical staff for resus who could have benefitted for more information on how to complete resuscitation
Natalie and Sharon both know well what they are doing. The only improvement I would recommend is to add more videos or make slides more interesting than to only make them descriptive.
Sharon’s demonstrations were excellent and she kept the group engaged and interested.
Terrorism is not relevant to go through in great detail. Mental health in safeguard wasn’t mentioned in detail and applicable to us
The course content focused too much on sections that were not directly applicable to us. The trainer spent too much time and went into too much detail on terrorism, child safeguarding and self defence and not enough time on adult safeguarding, mental health etc. No time was spent on incident reporting which would have been more useful. The trainer stood at the front talking and very few slides were used or shown so it was difficult to maintain interest. A couple of videos were shown that were quite dated. Generally I do not feel the training was useful.
