Excellent trainer. Gave me the confidence to know that doing something is better than doing nothing at all

The elaboration and explanation by tutor are excellent. The language is straightforward and understandable. Very organised presentation. The workbook is excellent, easy understanding.

I feel a lot more people should attend this training with mental health on the rise and giving staff and public the confidence to support people who are experiencing suicidal thoughts or attempts.

Shian speaks with such compassion and kindness that you don't feel any questions are silly. The training built confidence around areas I felt wobbly and shows the transformative power of sitting down with someone and showing you care.

Really good informative session on how to deal with suicide in a tailored way towards students. Was kept light and delivered in a way that kept us engaged and wasn’t too daunting. Helped us to understand how to support students in these situations

Facilitator really good at guiding training on when it was being taken off track, in a kind and supportive way. Bought the group back to what the training was about
