the general professionalism of ACI and the decision-making ability is poor to say the least. on Wednesday, there was inclimate weather and class was held. on Thursday, when the road were clear i got a call that there was an "emergency situation" at the facility and classes were canceled with no option of zoom (which the am class did) also stated was that there was a make up class to be scheduled on an upcoming Saturday. fast forward to 7pm on Friday when we got an email that our make up session was at 8am the next day. we were unable to take the end of course assessment until Saturday despite having meet the over 80% attendance requirement in your policy. poor decision making and lack of consideration of your students time. I will highly discourage anyone who inquires into your courses from taking them, currently there are 4 people in the course with me that i work with and 5 others that were considering attendance that will no longer be attending.
no time for labs because no time to get everything. you guys are just processing info in unrealistic compressed time.. Veterans need more time..now its going to take months and our own time without benefits to try to pass cert exams.. this is not how you treat veterans. spread the class out for 6 weeks for future students
I will re-sit this class with a different instructor that takes the time to hear the students comments and questions instead of firing through slides with, what seemed to be, a pre-planned speech of the material.
Overall this course, along with A+ has been overwhelmingly unsatisfactory. I hope security plus shows improvement as because military and veteran programs paying for this training are being taken advantage of.
ACI as a company should consider the programs that are rendered by the VA as it may not be conducive of stated requirements.
death by power points for 4hrs a day is not an effective way to engage students as well as instructors. in the words of former secretary of defense Gen. Mattis " power points make us dumber" . the ITPRO TV was decent at best but when people are working while taking this course and have families its not a picnic to say the least . Do better and take these surveys seriously font brush them off like the last one you did with me .
I wish the instructor would have done like previous instructors and made it easy for us to do a review the day of the test with questions that are on the ACI exams.
The entire curriculum should be scrutinized for errors on deliverables. Also consider utilizing live virtual scenarios that could demonstrate applicability.
