I would have preferred a hard copy of the manual as opposed to the digital copy, as i work better from a physical copy. But other than that, i have found the training really helpful.

Very enjoyable training which allowed a good opportunity to reflect on scenarios that could happen in everyday life. i also learnt a lot about differences between psychosis and hallucinations and depression etc, very interesting. I do believe this will be helpful in my professional and personal life. The facilitators led the training well and they gave opportunities for group discussion but they also kept they time on track. Thank you for organising these sessions.

this course was excellent. The Instructors pitched it at the right level for everyone involved. They were informative, they ensured that everything was covered and explained everything clearly, in a way that everyone in the course whether they had attended one previously or not would understand. The content of the course was excellent too, there was the right amount of talking from them and time for questions and answers all the way through the course. They worked very well together and complimented each other. Both are definitely an asset to your MHYFA delivery team. Thanks Tor and Steve for a really enjoyable course.

Despite some connectivity issues, the course was well set up, informative and gave the tools needed to be able to support someone if needed.

I really enjoyed the breath of the course and it definitely filled in some of my knowledge gaps particularly about substance misuse which I am unfamiliar with. I thought the ALGEE was a great approach and it was very constructive especially thinking about the self harm aspects as sometimes I just want to fix things for people and in the past I haven't been confident enough to be specific if a learner said they were planning on doing something. I did feel however and this is coming from my experience in Neuro diverse individuals that perhaps the ted doesn't take into account that sometimes the language centre completely shuts down when the amygdala has been triggered. Sometimes if they do not answer you they may not be able to tell you what the matter is and just reassuring them they are safe and distracting are more effective if you are working with an upset neuro diverse learner Being aware of that is really important I think, but I enjoyed the course and I found it really helpful so thank you.

Well delivered course that has equipped me well to offer first aid in mental health. Lots of relevant up to date information used and the course presenters were excellent.
