S9 - Practical Introduction to the Safe Operation of High and Low Voltage Switchgear Reviews

Lecturer Lee is a top bloke, very knowledgeable & explained everything clearly. Enjoyed the course as lots of hands on practical sessions.

Very well presented, and very enjoyable.

8 people was too much for one lecturer. A lot of time standing watching others. Lecturer is very good,informative and entertaining and accommodated our groups specific requests to work on certain apparatus

Good introduction to the practical side of HV switching. Very hands on and worthwhile to someone coming into HV and LV switching.

Eddie had great experience to share with the class. Course met my requirements for an introduction.

Good to have plenty of practical training on the switchgear and the site had the equipment we had on site.

Eddie is a lovely guy with plenty of knowledge. He has plenty of stories with relevance to the course which he has gained over his many years experience. I have previously completed the S4 course and have moved employers who wanted me to come and do the S9. With having previous experience and knowledge above the S9 I did sometimes find it slow, however it was nice to get some refresher training and I did still learn from Eddie. It's nice to get lunch and refreshments included. Some food was better than others. Overall a good experience and nice to be able to network with others within the same field as me.

Very good course throughly enjoyed it

Good demonstration of how to safely isolate and secure many variations of HV switchgear. Good training on how to correctly write switching surveys for isolations and regeneration of supplies. I have gained more technical knowledge and more confidence going forward.

Excellent insight onto HV and LV switchgear including the operation of various types of equipment. Applying the isolations and removal , also as well as completing the switching plan and filling in the HV permit to work form.
