I will definitely look to do more in depth courses and would choose this instructor again if available.

Overall, a difficult topic trained well. There were a few technical difficulties for some learners in accessing the digital workbook. I could access it and print it off, but I couldn't save it or type into it, which would have been useful. I did feel that the course should conclude with a specific section on self care for the person who has done the suicide intervention - as, having previously done it, I know it can have a lasting impact and trauma. Although it was discussed when I raised it, I felt it would not have been addressed if I had raised it.

Overall the course was a brilliant in sight to help see the signs needed to help prevent suicide

I feel that this type of training session is very important to anyone who works within the “Patient Care” service. Everyone that has contact with vulnerable individuals, should be aware of the signs and symptoms of potential suicidal individuals.

I think it would be useful for all who participate to receive an appropriate list of support organisations, rather than rely on others to mention who they use during course - this can feel a bit rushed something incredibly useful may have been missed.
