Additional Lunch Options For Vegetarians/Vegans Would Be Ideal But What Was Available Was Good, The Course Itself Was Excellent, Well Presented And Easy To Follow If You Have No Prior Knowledge

interesting and useful course for most engineering industry, a good amount on knowledge is needed before attending the course, this will allow the content to be understood better and the student to get more out of the course. time should be allocated for extra teaching in the case of students struggling with the course content.

It would be better if there was only 1 system used instead of 2. As the tutor was teaching two different systems at one time it was a bit of cross reference going on.

The course has enabled me to gain a better understanding of PLC's and how they work. This will be very beneficial for my future role.

Course was a good base knowledge of PLCs. Could have had more interaction with the PLCs in the robotic arms/conveyor set-ups etc.

The equipment is old and it may be time for an update of the computer, screens, key boards and PLCS. The constant engaged tone that was omnipresent in the room was an unwelcome distraction, often breaking my concentration. The presentation of the material was done very well, Eliott was a great orator. However, the course content was covered too quickly for me. Also we were told that the content of the course was primarily for learning fault finding. We had no exercises in looking at completed programmes and finding faults. The main method was building our own problems, full of faults that are only there because I mis-understood function and I did not find this helpful. The written presentation was a bit poor. The explanations were excellent but again a bit fast. I could have done with a slow walk through for things like flasher circuits and how to reset programmes and jump back to main programmes, from subroutines. Over all I found Eliott cordial and approachable and I could ask him to fault find my programmes, that he fixed, without fail. If he was slower wit the presentations, he could pass on better some of his excellent skill in fault fining and rectification. This course was the week of the Queen funeral so we lost a full day.

Found that we were out of our depth a little on the project and that there wasnt much supportive help. Moved too quick through areas that were needed on the project. Equipment is now outdated and not the newest for Siemens which was one of the reason i attended this course.

I found that the time management from the instructor was poor in that we spent a lot of time waiting for him to finish on the phone so that we could ask for help. I found the Thursday on the second week to be a lot of sitting about when the exam could have been brought forwards or had additional training. Course content was relevant and useful. PLC rigs were well set up. Would have preferred more training on the practical PLC modules I.E. grab and lift etc.

We enrolled on the PLC intermediate course and appear to have been put on the second week of the plc 10. we feel we did not get what we booked as per the course description or content

The course provided met all expectations and requirements of the knowledge needed on PLCs for my future career prospects. Facilities provided were very good and lunch was always top quality. Would definitely recommend Technique Learning solutions to anyone looking for quality training.
