I would recommend sending out pre course reading material for anyone who has no experience with PLC's. More fault finding needed on course. More setting up of equipment needed on course.

Very good course, extremely well delivered. I now know more than I did at the start. The core understanding of PLC and where they fit in in the engineering environment is now appreciated.

As there no lunch crossing the road to Aldi is very dangerous.

Overall, I felt that the course has provided me with the required underlying knowledge required for roles that use PLC's in the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Elliot has been a very accommodating tutor and it is clear to see that he has a huge amount of knowledge. The one criticism I have is that lunch is no longer provided with no discount to the total cost of the course.

I think that the course on the whole was great, I really felt challenged and used a part of my brain I'd not had to use in a long time! I do think that the course book could be slightly better. With more detailed explanations in one large book. So it would have clear explanations of how to do each command, essentially what is on the powerpoints but in a detailed document.

I feel like 2 weeks of just using push buttons and lighting LEDs is to much. Maybe do the first week on the push button boards then move on to the conveyer belts. Also I feel the course needs a part in for the installation of PLC's most jobs roles attendees are looking to go into would include that and it would be nice to be prepared for that.
