Simon is a great tutor, although i failed the course, i was told it was a basic Electrical Course and wasn't expecting to be doing 18th edition. Being a novice, found it extremely hard. was the first time I've even seen the regs. That said, as we got through the course i started to understand how to navigate the book, so Simon did an excellent job of getting a complete novice to even start to understand the book. Well done for that Simon 👍

I feel the course is about the right length of time if you have some prior knowledge and familiarity with the BS7671 regs book. If however, you have no prior experience, then the course and exam could prove to be very difficult. The tutor Simon Barker did do a very good job in helping all student levels to navigate through the book!

As usual the course is about passing the exam rather than becoming competent and confident in carrying out work to BS 7671. The course was very well presented but at times I felt that it was going over my head.

Quality and level of learning provided was to a good/appropriate standard. The trainer (Tom) was patient with all students and more than happy to provide help and repeat information when required. The trainer also provided real world examples of uses of the standard to make the information provided relatable and therefore more memorable, which helped with the exam. To make improvements on the course I would have liked to have completed mock exams on the computer as opposed to being on paper to better prepare me for the exam.

Course was to be 3 days in length in order to cover all content. Paid for 3 day course. Course was cut short by a day due to HM's funeral. Update email received stating that remaining 2 days would be longer in order to make up for lost time - this was not the case. - No extra time provided. Lost 1 day and my result reflected this lost contact time. Computers for exam need updating / modernising. Very slow connection time. Some computers didn't work.

A good course with very supportive tutor, gave real life example's and also broke the course down in what can be a very heavy subject!

the tutor wendy was great ! given we only had 2 days to cover the regs book I thought she managed to cover everything without skipping through sections too quickly.

Very well constructed course, the instructor steve was excellent and knew the subject , he took time to explain areas that we didn't understand , for me personally I struggled as im not an electrician but I passed so ultimately the course works .

Good intense course, lunches were good, the 18th edition books were falling apart at the binder so new ones should be bought
