Very informative course, delivered well, teaching materials such as Videos and booklets contained good and relevant information for my area of practice which is Health and Social Care environment(HR) department. Disappointed that there was no lunch provided.

A very in depth course content and very heavy going in places, very much let down by the poor communication from Green cross training who failed to notify every participant that lunch was NOT provided. as much of the course content revolves around looking after ones own well being the decision not to provide any lunch at all and restricting free access to one hot drink was incredibly short sighted on behalf of the green cross. whilst I realise cost is a factor by both not providing any lunch and choosing a venue where food and drinks were daylight robbery to purchase was very annoying to all particpants. course content and delivery 10/10 organisation and logistics 0/10 this was a shame as the course message and content was great . I would highly recommend the course to others but to avoid Green cross as a training provider at all costsResponse : Paul, Thankyou for your feedback, at GCT we are always striving to improve. We are pleased that you enjoyed the content and the trainer but are saddened to hear that you felt our communication and management of the course was poor. We communicate to all our delegates via joining instructions that state no food is provided and we select the venue, close to a cafe and a pub for refreshments. Many thanks

Great course overall and will be recommending it to colleagues. Keen to understand what any follow on/refresher courses will look like. Venue not great though!

The instructor really knew her stuff, very knowledgeable. Everyone enjoyed this Mental Health First Aid training, and I would recommend it to anyone.

An additional course/information relating to children specifically. Especially children/young people on autistic spectrum, children in care, children who have been subject to abuse.

The general thought was that the trainer seemed unorganised and inexperienced. See did say that this was her first course taken on her own and we understand that everyone has to start somewhere. Maybe a class of 15 was too much on her first solo course. The feeling was she was just reading from the manual and not really listening to what anyone was saying. We also had to do some exercises and wasn't explained why or to what relevance they were - in particular the active listening exercise. A few real life scenarios would have been good as people have come out feeling unequipped should they be faced with needing to provide help to someone.

Course handbook and workbook- excellent Course power point- shockingly bad. Broke all the rules about what makes an effective slide deck. Far too much text which forced the trainer to talk through the slides a lot of the time. This meant most participants switched off.
