About this course
This live on-line interactive course is designed for individuals who have a basic understanding of the general Property Owners covers and are seeing to expand their knowledge on or are seeking a refresher on this class of insurance.
The course will be highly interactive with delegate participation and engagement throughout. This course consists of two 90 minute on-line sessions.
The course is delivered by a Chartered Insurance Broker with over 40 years insurance experience who is a certified on-line facilitator (COLF).
There will be a maximum of 10 delegates.

- Describe the issues and solutions for joint insured requests
- Identify the Risk and Underwriting considerations of property owners insurance
- Outline the additional covers for residential and commercial landlords

- Rent/alternative accommodation
- Liability – employers and property owners
- Additional covers
- Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs)
- Legislation
- Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 as amended by the Building Safety Act 2022
- The Fire Safety Act 2021 and Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022
