About this course
The CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) is a 5-day industry recognised course that covers a broad range of topics that will equip the delegate with the necessary knowledge to comply with associated legislation to ensure healthy and safe conditions for construction site employees. Delegates will gain the knowledge required to comply with legislation and regulations within a construction environment, such as the Health and Safety Act 1974.
What you will learn
- Manage health and safety on site in accordance with current legal provisions within the context of their role
- Develop an understanding of responsibilities and accountability for site health, safety and welfare
- Recognise a safe site is efficient, economical and productive
- Prepare risk assessments

Very engaging tutor, large scope of course content to cover across the duration.
I applied for this cause to further my career but I was worried due to having dyslexia. My reading and writing is poor and I struggle to understand certain aspects. All the tutors were spot on but I feel Luke took the extra time needed to understand or get a better understanding of the subject being discussed. I would honestly say if you feel your disability is a barrier then you should still do this course. The support and help is here for you and it turned out to be very enjoyable.
