Description
This course covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles. Upon successful course completion, the student will receive an OSHA general industry safety and health 10-hour course completion card. The 10-hour course is two days of training.

Scope and application of the OSHA general industry standards, introduction to OSHA, Walking and Working Surfaces, Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans, and Fire Protection, Electrical, Personal Protective Equipment, Hazard Communication, Hazardous Materials, Materials Handling, Machine Guarding, Introduction to Industrial Hygiene, Bloodborne Pathogens, Ergonomics, Safety and Health Programs, and Fall Protection.
