About this course
Know Yourself, Understand Others is an interactive 75-minute session exploring behavioural agility: the ability to recognise your natural working style, understand how others may think and respond differently, and adapt your approach when the situation demands it.
Led by Debra Stevens and supported by professional actors, the session brings everyday workplace behaviours to life through realistic scenarios, discussion and practical exercises. Participants see how different communication styles affect relationships, teamwork and results—and leave with techniques they can apply immediately.
Entry requirement: No prior knowledge neededWhat you will learn
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
• recognise their natural behavioural and communication preferences
• understand how their behaviour may be experienced by other people
• identify the behaviours they tend to fall back on under pressure
• recognise why different people respond differently to the same situation
• adapt their communication without pretending to be someone they are not
• create a personal “care label” to help others work with them more effectively
