About this course
Our Catheterisation Training course provides Nurses and Senior Care Workers with the knowledge and practical skills needed to perform catheterisation safely. The course covers male, female and suprapubic catheterisation, including safe insertion, maintenance and removal.
Delivered by experienced trainers in a hands-on setting, the course focuses on infection prevention, patient dignity and evidence-based practice.

- Apply principles of consent, dignity, comfort and privacy.
- Provide catheter care in line with evidence-based guidance.
- Recognise, manage and report complications and adverse events.
