About this course
The CISRS Part 2 Tube and Fitting course is a 10-day training program designed for scaffolders with at least six months on-site experience after completing Part 1, teaching advanced skills to safely erect, alter, and dismantle a range of scaffolding structures as part of a team, while following statutory regulations and health and safety standards.
What you will learn
Participants on the CISRS Part 2 Tube & Fitting course will learn how to:
- Safely erect, alter, and dismantle various scaffolding structures including truss-out, pavement gantry, loading bay, splay, protective fan, pre-fabricated beams, roof scaffolds, mobile aluminium towers, roof saddle scaffold, edge protection, and bridging with prefabricated beams.
- Understand and apply regulations such as TG20:13 and BS EN 12811-1, and follow safe working systems outlined in Safety Guidance Notes (SG4).
- Construct and test scaffold ties and anchors to ensure structural safety
