About this course
The CISRS Scaffolding Part 2 course is a 10‑day, industry‑recognised training course designed for operatives who have already passed CISRS Scaffolding Part 1 and have at least six months of relevant scaffolding experience since then. It equips delegates to safely erect, alter and dismantle a range of scaffold types as part of a team, and is a prerequisite for obtaining the CISRS scaffolder card
What you will learn
Upon completion, trainees will be able to:
- Safely erect, alter, and dismantle a variety of scaffold structures as part of a team.
- Work with scaffolds including independent tied scaffolds, pavement gantries, loading bays, truss-out scaffolds, splay scaffolds, protective fans, prefabricated beams, roof saddles, and roof edge protection.
- Understand and apply statutory regulations including TG20 guidance and BS EN12811-1 standards.
- Conduct anchor setting and tie testing for scaffolding systems.
- Follow safe systems of work as outlined in Safety Guidance Note 4 (SG4).
- Build and maintain an NVQ Level 2 portfolio related to scaffolding operations, aligning with assessment requirements.
