CISRS Part 1: Tube and Fitting is a core scaffolding training course that develops the skills and knowledge needed to safely erect, alter, and dismantle basic scaffolding structures using tube and fitting or proprietary systems
What you will learn
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
- Safely erect, alter, and dismantle independent, putlog, tower, and birdcage scaffolds.
- Lay out materials and assess material requirements for scaffold structures.
- Apply health and safety regulations, including Safety Guidance Note 4 (SG4) and TG20 standards.
- Interpret simple scaffold drawings and understand tie testing basics.
- Make scaffold alterations, such as dropping lift heights or adapting layouts to site conditions.
- Identify potential hazards and implement safe working practices
