About this course
The CISRS COTS (Construction Operatives Training Scheme) New Entrant course is a one-day, entry-level training program designed to teach new scaffolding operatives and labourers the fundamental skills, knowledge, and health and safety practices required to work safely on construction sites.

- Mobile Access Tower Training (MATS) for safe use and assembly of access towers
- Scaffold Good Practice for construction, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolds
- Temporary Works Responsibilities for safe handling and use of temporary structures
- Fall Protection and Harness Training, including SG4 and SG19 standards.
- TG20 Guidance, including masonry anchors and design appreciation
- Manual Handling, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements (RAMS) Scaffolding Health, Safety, and Behavioural Testing
