About this course
The CISRS Advanced Scaffolding course is a 10-day programme that trains experienced scaffolders in the safe erection, alteration, and dismantling of complex scaffolding systems, combining practical and classroom learning with theoretical knowledge of regulations and site safety.
What you will learn
Participants will gain the ability to:
- Interpret scaffolding design drawings accurately and plan scaffold erection.
- Safely erect, alter, and dismantle sophisticated scaffolding structures as part of a team.
- Conduct advanced scaffold inspections and perform tie and anchor testing.
- Prepare, interpret, and apply risk assessments and method statements.
- Understand health and safety principles, fall prevention, and rescue procedures for scaffolding operations.
- Apply temporary works management principles (BS 5975) and oversee compliance on-site.
