About this course
The ECITB CCNSG Safety Passport is a nationally recognised two-day health and safety training course that provides essential knowledge for personnel working on engineering, industrial, and construction sites, culminating in a Safety Passport valid for three years ECITB.
What you will learn
The course covers key health and safety principles and practical awareness, including:
- Health and Safety legislation, regulations, and the responsibilities of clients, employers, and employees.
- Permit-to-work systems and risk assessment procedures.
- Safe working practices for scaffolding, access/egress, and working at height Fire safety procedures, accident reporting, first aid, and emergency preparedness.
- Use of tools and equipment, including cranes and heavy plant, noise, hand-arm vibration, and manual handling.
- Confined space and excavation safety, asbestos and hazardous substances awareness
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and environmental awareness
- Personal site safety responsibilities, mental health considerations, and equality awareness
