The NPORS Cartridge Tools training course equips participants with the essential knowledge and hands-on skills required for the safe, efficient, and legally compliant use of powder-actuated cartridge tools in construction and maintenance environments.

- Select the correct tool, fasteners, and cartridges for specific tasks.
- Employ appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and implement risk assessment practices.
- Apply environmental considerations and safe storage/transport of tools.
- Operate cartridge tools safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Practical Training Hands-on practice is an integral part of the training, allowing participants to: Inspect and identify defective cartridges.
- Load, fit, and fire cartridges under supervisory guidance.
- Conduct shutdown and end-of-shift procedures to ensure safety.
- Maintain and store tools safely post-operation
