About this course
Cat A, or Category A, asbestos awareness training is an introductory course designed for workers who may accidentally encounter asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) during normal work activities but are not authorised to remove, repair, or disturb asbestos.
Cat A Asbestos Awareness training provides essential knowledge to recognise asbestos, understand its health risks, legal responsibilities, and learn safe practices to avoid accidental exposure without allowing hands-on asbestos work.
The training is UKATA-approved and aligns with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, ensuring compliance with legal and safety requirements
What you will learn
