the purpose and Importance of Asbestos Awareness training is mandated under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 for individuals whose work may foreseeably expose them to asbestos.
The course does not train delegates to remove asbestos but provides essential guidance to avoid disturbing asbestos-containing materials

- Legal and Compliance Requirements: Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, employer and employee duties, asbestos surveys, and risk management obligations.
- Recognition of Asbestos: Common locations and identification of ACMs, limitations of visual inspections.
- Safe Work Practices: Precautions before work, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), control measures to prevent exposure, and decontamination procedures.
