An Anaphylaxis Awareness course equips learners with the knowledge and skills to recognise, respond to, and prevent severe allergic reactions, including the safe use of adrenaline auto-injectors across multiple settings

What you will learn

in this course you will learn how to:

Understand the causes, triggers, immune response, and types of anaphylaxis.

Recognise early symptoms, including signs of severe allergic reactions.

Demonstrate correct use of adrenaline auto-injectors such as EpiPen®, Jext®, and Emerade®.

Take appropriate emergency actions, including casualty positioning and rapid response protocols.

Implement prevention strategies and allergy management plans in various environments. Understand legal, ethical, and practical considerations in schools, food establishments, and care homes.

Maintain accurate documentation, post-incident management, and risk assessments.
