An Anaphylaxis Awareness course equips learners with the knowledge and skills to recognise, respond to, and prevent severe allergic reactions, including the safe use of adrenaline auto-injectors across multiple settings

What you will learn

  • Recognise early symptoms, including signs of severe allergic reactions.
  • Demonstrate correct use of adrenaline auto-injectors such as EpiPen®, Jext®, and Emerade®.
  • Take appropriate emergency actions, including casualty positioning and rapid response protocols.
  • Implement prevention strategies and allergy management plans in various environments. Understand legal, ethical, and practical considerations in schools, food establishments, and care homes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, post-incident management, and risk assessments.
