
Description
The EUSR Category 2 (CAT2) course provides practical training in safe digging and excavation around underground utilities, aligned with EUSR standards and industry best practice.
It covers planning and carrying out excavations safely using hand tools and hand-held power tools, alongside safe use of CAT & Genny awareness. Delegates learn how to reduce utility strike risks and work safely in trenches and excavations.
Training includes practical assessment and on-site excavation activities, with successful completion leading to EUSR Category 2 certification, valid for three years.
What you will learn
