About this course
This three-day level 2 qualification is aimed at those who have not carried out inspection and testing or who require some update training before going on to the City & Guilds Level 3 Test and Inspection. It prepares candidates for the initial verification of electrical installation in single phase.
What you will learn
• Requirements of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations for inspection, testing and certification
• Preparation for initial inspection and testing
• Inspection, testing and certifying, using IET Guidance Note 3
• Hands-on practical work with test equipment
• Practicing filling in the main standard certificates, forms and schedules

The Trainer Sam, and his able assistant Rick, were both extremely knowledgeable in the subject matter. Both of them were friendly, with a great sense of humour and were only too willing to assist with any issues i and others had on the course. The only criticism i have about the course is that it needs be extended by 1 day as the practical element of the inspection & testing was a bit rushed, due to time constraints, and in my opinion should be extended to give candidates an extra day to do more practice testing before attempting the assessment
Great experience end to end. All the staff are friendly and super helpful. Dorian was a great tutor, approachable, very knowledgeable and had good delivery methods to help you grasp the knowledge and application required to absorb the content.
