City and Guilds 2391-51 Level 3 Award in Periodic Inspection

Description

This four-day level 3 course covers the requirements of BS 7671 for inspection, testing and certification and is designed to prepare candidates for both the online and practical examinations.
This qualification is suitable for candidates wishing to carry out Periodic Inspection of electrical installations.
Candidates gain the skills and knowledge necessary to perform periodic inspection and testing procedures by practicing on purpose-built training rigs which simulate electrical installations with/without faults. Instruction is given to allow candidates to become proficient at completing the electrical installation certificate and the electrical installation condition report.

Without sounding patronising PTT Tring is one of the best Electrical industry training venues I have attended. Both the admin staff and the tutors /teaching side are all friendly and nothing seems to be too much trouble. Furthermore, my tutor for the course on this occaision was Sam Craig and I found him to be not only highly professional and highly knowledgeable but a real gent . He has an exceptional ability to not only teach difficult concepts but also to grab ones attention and imagination so the learning was enjoyable. I’ve been to ptt twice now over the past month, to sit the 2391/50 and the 2391/51 and both Sam and Dorian were both great tutors in there own rights! Will be returning to learn some more course soon and will definitely be telling all my electrician friends to book on with PTT tring

The girls in admin are great, really helpful and friendly. Dorian is the tutor I had for this course he was fantastic, really helpful and explained everything as best as he could. Also a special thanks to Nicky the exam assessor, he does his best to help you relax and try not to get to stressed out.
