City & Guilds 2382 – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

The 3 day City & Guilds 2382-22 course provides a comprehensive review of the latest edition of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671:2018 (2022).

This course is intended to ensure that practicing electricians comply with the format, content and applications of The Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671.

There are no formal entry requirements, but the qualification is primarily aimed at electricians and other allied professionals and trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of IET Wiring Regulations. It is also suitable for anyone wishing to demonstrate an understanding of the IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).

The scheme covers topics such as protection for safety, selection and erection of equipment, and inspection and testing to meet the standards of the IET Wiring Regulations.

The course concludes with an open book multiple-choice online exam. Candidates have two hours to answer all sixty questions; the exam result is immediately available.

Sam was brilliant and engaging (on what could have otherwise been a very dry course). I have now had Candi, Dorian and Sam on the courses I have done with PTT and all three have gone above and beyond to help me out (even when it wasn’t a course they were leading!). They are a credit to PTT and I would definitely recommend them. Hopefully I will be coming back again once I can get some work as an electrician and need further qualifications and my NVQ.
