Description
Much of the information and training on animal welfare is focused on zoo or production settings. But what about the rabbits, chickens, goats, ponies, stick insects or others in your care?
How do you ensure visitors have fun while making sure the animals are okay? How do you know if your enclosures and activities support a good life for the animals? What message do you want people to walk away with?
This training is tailored to a farm park/city farm setting and covers the range of species cared for in these environments. In this event, you’ll cover anything from human-animal interactions, enrichment, enclosure design and more. Sessions are tailored to you, so that you can walk away with clarity and confidence to improve things for the animals in your care.
We’ll cover the ways you can support positive animal welfare alongside enjoyable and educational experiences for visitors.
