What you will learn

Understanding Trauma: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of trauma, including its definition, types, and prevalence, as well as the impact it can have on individuals and communities.
Recognition of Trauma Signs and Symptoms: Participants will develop the ability to recognise signs and symptoms of trauma in individuals, including common behavioral, emotional, and physiological responses.
Principles of Trauma-Informed Responses : Participants will learn the core principles of trauma-informed responses , including safety, trustworthiness, choice, collaboration, and empowerment, and how to integrate these principles into their practice.
Self-Care and Vicarious Trauma: Participants will learn about the importance of self-care and strategies for preventing and addressing vicarious trauma, burnout, and compassion fatigue in their professional roles
