About this course
The course is for personnel who are involved in Rescue & Recovery of casualties from confined spaces.
The aim of the course is to educate delegates in realistic work situations where rescue and recovery of personnel is required.
Delegates will be taught how to safely plan and execute a rescue plan, inspect and use relevant equipment in line with manufacturer’s user instruction.
What you will learn
- Prepare to work safely in emergency conditions
- Use rescue equipment safely in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
- Follow emergency procedures
- Deal with emergencies
- Demonstrate appropriate behaviour for carrying out emergency extraction of casualties from a confined space
