Both would've been fine really. Maybe in a classroom it would be more personal, but the info and message get across in both occasions

Anne Maire Newell gave an excellent presentation over the past 2 days. I now have a better understanding of UoM and we will use in the information and techniques to improve our systems in the lab. The use of the excel sheet was great.
