M&A Modeling Reviews

This training is good value to ground everyone on key areas before we hit our desks. I would encourage that the pre-training modules are made mandatory so that everyone is grounded on the bare minimum basics and during the face to face, we can focus on details / deeper topics.

AMT training is a very good experience to learn and understand fundamental corporate finance knowledge for an analyst.

I wish the class would be at a faster pace, where the instructors can keep the class engaged. I also think due to the number of people, it is harder for individuals to speak up. Potentially more group discussion could be helpful.

Loved the trainer! Serge is amazing and very competently handled a 20-day training program for 150 people. It's difficult enough to teach this stuff one-on-one to someone, and it is altogether another effort to teach 150+ people. Serge did amazingly well always sharing his remarkable wisdom of M&A and financial markets (as well as his delightful sense of humor). Thanks for the training, Serge!

nicely driven lectures followed by resourceful materials that I can work on my own. On some specific topics that I formerly did not know, it felt like I was left out from all of the participants.

Infrastructure modelling is useful especially for me who is covering these sectors.

Very good Trainers and TAs - slide materials not very good for reviewing it at home again

Super slow dragged out. Modeling is not deep enough. Why do we do infrastructure and project finance models if people can't get a grasp of DCF and LBO? The amount of time spent on useless information or tasks could be better used to do real power modeling and formatting from scratch. Non internship analysts have zero clue on how to start a model, which colors to use or formulas in general. Serge and the trainers are good but the content is super bad. Its like having Messi play with highschoolers and expecting the team to be great.
